"Parents Can Make a Difference" On October 17, 2009 HOPE worldwide Singapore reached a historic milestone. In partnership with the Health Promotion Board of Singapore, HOPE worldwide presented a Movie Therapy workshop in a mosque. This workshop was focused on equipping parents with the tools to help their teens overcome smoking. It was held at the Darussalam Mosque, in Singapore. The Movie Therapy workshop was called "Parents Can Make a Difference". The goal of the workshop was to give awareness of the growing problems among teens who smoke and how parents can help. The workshop included movie therapy, activities and group discussions. This historic workshop highlights the strong partnership between HOPE worldwide Singapore and the various government agencies as well as the importance of interfaith service.
