| Faces of Hope A Leprosy Patient’s Story from the Village of HOPE
 New Delhi, India: Tribhuvan was only 14 years old when he was diagnosed with leprosy. As the disease progressed, it affected his hands, causing Trubhuvan to leave his hometown of Varanasi, desperate to find help. Although his leprosy was eventually cured at a leprosy hospital in Delhi, Tribhuvan still had to overcome the paralysis that it left in his hands and fingers. After reconstructive surgery, Tribhuvan joined the HOPE foundation Computer Institute at the Village of HOPE. Through the encouragement of staff members, Tribhuvan finished the course with flying colors and is now a Lab Tech student at St. Stephen’s Hospital in Delhi. His journey of desperation has led him to find hope today.
