Please read the FAQs AND ALL INSTRUCTIONS carefully BEFORE you begin your application.

1. Make sure you fill out all required fields. The form will not allow you to continue until you fill out all fields marked with the asterisk *.
   
   
2. You must fill out the form in one session. Do not complete it in parts at different times. This will cause incomplete applications to be sent in. You need to fill out the whole application in one process. Print out parts 4 and 5 and mail those in afterwards.
   
   
3. Your application has 5 parts. You must complete each part in sequence.

4. Your data will not be saved until you hit the "Submit and Proceed..." button on each part. Once you hit the submit button, the form will save your entries and take you to the next page. Data on the page will not be saved until you hit the submit button so do not go back until you have submitted the page.
   
   
5. Make sure you first write your essays outside of the application form (in Microsoft Word or some other word processing program) and make sure you have it saved for yourself. Then cut and paste your whole document or copy it over onto the form. DO NOT work on the essay for the first time on this form in case you accidentally lose the page or close the browser window. Applications will not be saved until you complete them in their entirety. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed until they are complete. You will be contacted to complete your application if it is incomplete.

NOTE: Any applications submitted before November 1st, 2007 were for the 2007 HYC. To apply for 2008, please submit a new application. Your application cannot be processed until we have received all five parts of the application.
