A New Home for Hope

Since 2001, volunteers in Chennai, India have been caring for the desperate women and children living on their streets. Thanks to the generosity of the Arias family and many others, these families now have a home.

HOPE foundation held the Dedication Ceremony of the Arias Home of HOPE on August 10, 2009.

Before the ceremony, the HOPE foundation staff shared about the exciting journey of the home. Some spoke about the victories of God providing for the children, others about the strength and power God gave them when they suffered the loss of one of the children.

Mr. Santhosh P Kagoo and Mrs. Nalini Kagoo, the couple that initially began caring for the poor in the area, and all the others who have served tirelessly since 2001 were recognized and thanked. Without them, many more vulnerable people would be homeless, starving and hopeless.

The Arias Home of HOPE is the realization of a dream and a hope for the poor people of India.
