On the Ground Leading the Rebuilding of Afghanistan
30 medical clinics and hospitals and 20 schools constructed in Afghanistan
Over 80% of Afghan schools were damaged or destroyed and the Afghan health care system ceased to exist in a modern sense during 25 years of war and occupation.
HOPE worldwide relief work in Afghanistan began under the Taliban regime. The team grew to include loyal and devoted Afghan specialists in health, education, logistics, construction, and engineering on the ground and uniquely positioned to contribute to rebuilding the country when Taliban rule ended.
Our 50 schools and clinics in six Afghan provinces include eight new schools serving thousands of children in a former Taliban stronghold.
