About Mozambique

HOPE worldwide Mozambique (MOZHOPE) is lifting children out of poverty.

There are 2 million orphans in Mozambique. With no family to care for them, many beg, wander the streets, or are taken-in by kind, but extremely poor "community mothers". Tragically, this is just the beginning of their hardships. Hundreds of thousands of orphans miss the opportunity to grow in physical, cognitive, linguistic and emotional development - which severely limits their ability to provide for themselves as they grow up.
