HOPE worldwide is now responding to the damage caused by Hurricane Milton, as well as continuing to respond to the damage caused by Hurricane Helene.
The UN World Food Program categorized this as the first recorded instance of level 5 catastrophic food insecurity in the history of Haiti. HOPEww provided immediate relief.
To date, we have delivered more than $28 million in medicines and trauma supplies, served over 1 million hot meals, provided over 50,000 food baskets and deliveries.
HOPE worldwide delivered water filter systems and trained villages how to use them, resulting in a 99% reduction in reported cases of waterborne illnesses.
HOPE worldwide coordinated relief efforts in 60 countries, to bring relief to the vulnerable communities affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Our disaster response team was able to work with our partners on the ground to provide assistance to families in need, including delivering food, providing shelter and funds for immediate relief.
