Botswana, located in southern Africa, is known for its remarkable wildlife, natural beauty, and diverse landscapes. During the Botswana Volunteer Corps trip, volunteers will partner with HOPE worldwide programs in a rural community, and support initiatives serving children, teens, women, and families.

Service opportunities may include assisting with the Early Childhood Development program, mentoring teenagers, supporting women’s empowerment initiatives, and participating in hands-on community improvement projects. Volunteers with relevant skills may also contribute to financial literacy programs, computer classes, and other educational activities.

Those who wish to extend their stay before or after the Volunteer Corps experience can explore Botswana’s many sightseeing opportunities, including its renowned wildlife reserves and safaris.
