The LendHOPEww Donor Journey

What is LendHOPE worldwide?

LendHOPE worldwide aims to break cycles of material poverty by empowering small business owners and career-motivated individuals through access to capital, high-quality mentorship, and local training.

Our vision is to support vibrant communities and economies as our small business owners and career-motivated individuals are empowered to grow their businesses, start their careers, give back to their communities, and insert more capital into their local markets while inspiring donors through their stories of resilience and success.

LendHOPE
worldwide works with each individual through micro-funding that is crowdfunded on our app.

As a part of the LendHOPE worldwide community, each individual will support other local micro-funds over time through our process of reciprocal giving. This multiplies the impact of every donation and furthers sustainable development driven by the local community.

What’s the impact so far?

Currently, the LendHOPE worldwide program is active in 10 countries and has funded more than 100 micro-funds, resulting in 100% engagement in reciprocal donations.

Read entrepreneur Omar Zamboni's story.

Omar Zamboni, a LendHOPE worldwide entrepreneur, has led his business with resilience despite the continued challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. Zamboni lives in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, and is the owner of Zamboni's Gourmet Chilis. Zamboni recently went through the LendHOPE worldwide Entrepreneurship Program and received a small microdonation. This funding helped him purchase the raw materials needed to produce his salsas in bulk. Additionally, it allowed him to invest in product design and branding, which has effectively made his company more well-known.

2020 was a challenging year for so many, but Zamboni’s city was struck particularly hard. San Pedro Sula not only had to grapple with the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic but was also hit by two devastating hurricanes that left behind complete destruction. These external challenges created several roadblocks for the expansion of business. Zamboni’s business was limited in what it could produce for a handful of months due to these difficult and unforeseeable circumstances. However, despite these obstacles, Zamboni was able to use his microdonation to increase his sales by about 16% in just a few months! He is so excited about his recent business success, his products, and the positive feedback he has been getting from his customers.

Besides being an incredible businessman and owner, what stands out about Zamboni is his gratitude. His gratitude is reflected in his desire to have the resources to give to others even a fraction of what God has given to him. In partnership with LendHOPE
worldwide, he is more quickly able to fulfill this dream. Zamboni is faithfully engaging in LendHOPE worldwide’s redonation cycle, giving back the money he has received to other LendHOPE worldwide participants, just like him.

Together, we inspire greater hope.
