What?

HOPE worldwide Ethiopia is excited to host their first Volunteer Corps in the city of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia! Historically known as Abyssinia, it is regarded as the cradle of both mankind and civilization. It has the most UNESCO World Heritage Sites on the continent with breathtaking natural landscapes.

We will serve together at the Shamida/Kibebe Tsehaye’s Orphanage. HOPE worldwide Ethiopia’s mission is to provide medical and educational support to orphaned and vulnerable children in Ethiopia. The HVC participants will support the community outreach program by providing assistance with medical assessments, renovating activity centers and playgrounds, establishing the first vegetable garden in the orphanage, and of course, interacting with the children.
