In August 2016, the Hamilton Church of Christ (Canada) opened the 1 ^st Oasis Home for Kids (www.OasisHaiti.org ), in Les Cayes, a refuge for orphans.  Most of them were sick and unschooled when they arrived but now they have a home, a loving family and a future…

Unfortunately, Hurricane Matthew hit the area hard, causing destruction in its path, including the Oasis Home for kids.  Thank God nobody got hurt but there are many homes and buildings to fix before we can think about expanding.  So we need your help now to rebuild our installations and the homes of many brothers and sisters in the surroundings, alongside our partners, HOPE worldwide and Haitian Support.  
We will also offer our services to support the rebuilding efforts of the City Hall and giving hope to a hurting community.

You will be introduced to our Oasis Micro loans projects (Microfinance: Development with stewardship) by visiting and supporting local initiatives.  Finally, you will be exposed to the reality of abandoned and unschooled kids in Haiti and have an opportunity to live and work with them (building relationships, mentoring, teaching through games, preparing “awareness rallies” for youth, etc.).

HSC 2018 in Les Cayes, Haiti will be a true immersion in the poorest country of our hemisphere, experiencing the challenges of the rural villages and a thrilling opportunity to have an impact on many kids!
