In Manitoba, Canada, children in foster care face significant challenges as child and family services work to meet growing needs. These children deserve opportunities to experience care, build positive memories, and develop a strong sense of belonging and self-worth.

During the Canada Volunteer Corps trip, volunteers will help provide a supportive and engaging summer day camp for children in care. Through games, arts and crafts, outdoor activities, and memorable field trips, volunteers will help create a safe, welcoming environment where children can build relationships, explore new experiences, and feel valued and celebrated.

Outside of camp activities, volunteers will have opportunities to connect with Winnipeg’s vibrant and diverse church community. Church members will serve alongside Volunteer Corps participants, sharing fellowship and helping create a meaningful camp experience for the children.

Through service, relationship-building, and shared experiences, volunteers will help children feel supported, encouraged, and cared for while strengthening connections with the local community.
