Katie McCune GSI Bio

I am a neuroscience pre-med major at Washington State University in Pullman. 

I was able to serve on HYC Chicago 2017 and HVC Kenya 2019. Both of those opportunities inspired me to want to serve more. Those I had the opportunity to serve in both settings lived in poverty, yet the whole time I was serving I only noticed their constant joy. They were so grateful for what they did have and grateful we were there serving them; it only made me want to give and serve more. I am so excited to have the opportunity to answer God’s call to serve others and to learn through this experience as a GSI.
