Leslie Jaiyesmi GSI Bio

I am so grateful to be a part of the GSI program! I was born and raised in New Jersey and recently graduated college with a bachelor's in computer science from Hampton University. I plan on pursuing my masters in the year 2023! You can find me reading, playing soccer, going to pilates or eating dark chocolate. I had the privilege to serve on the Nepal HVC 2022. My experiences throughout the trip reminded me of my desire to serve. As well as how important God’s calling is for us to empower and encourage our communities daily. HOPEww provides us the opportunity to achieve this worldwide, amazing! The connections and friendships I have made are truly one of a kind. I hope to be a bright light and represent God’s love as I take on this role as a GSI. I am so excited to be a part of this program and am ready to continue to learn how to serve through God’s eyes.
