Donate to U.S. Disaster Response
With a diverse pool of more than 37,500 volunteers, HOPE worldwide is capable of mobilizing a surge of focused volunteer resources before, during and after disasters. As an organization within the National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disasters (NVOAD) association, HOPE worldwide is committed to prepare, repair and restore communities affected by natural and man-made disasters. In partnership with the Corporation for National and Community Service, the American Red Cross, FEMA, NVOAD, Catholic Charities USA, the Freddie Mac Foundation, Exxon Mobil, and Walmart, the HOPE worldwide Community Service Division Office of Disaster Services has been able to strategically prepare communities for emergencies and respond quickly and effectively to countless disasters across the country.
Through a strategic collaboration with the American Red Cross, HOPE worldwide combats the biggest disaster threat to U.S. families: fire. HOPE worldwide volunteers utilize door-to-door canvassing and community events to educate families about the risk of home fires and distribute life-saving fire prevention materials.
HOPE worldwide is dedicated to mobilizing teams of volunteers from across the country following the aftermath of major catastrophes in the United States. Our volunteers assist local organizations with food and water distribution, emergency communications operations and initial clean-up efforts. HOPE worldwide also specializes in designing child-focused programs that provide young disaster victims with safe play areas and targeted psychosocial support.
HOPE worldwide is committed to the restoration and rebuilding of disaster-affected communities. Our volunteers help with residential muck outs, minor housing repairs and beautification projects. HOPE worldwide is also cognizant of the emotional devastation induced by disasters and embraces the opportunity to provide innovative programs aimed at revitalizing communities and building resiliency.
