My Haiti Experience By Ed Francis
Hope Worldwide • May 16, 2015
Going to Haiti was a phenomenal experience for me. About a week before the deadline to sign up, my friend, Lynda, who has gone to Haiti several times with HOPE, told me about her experiences and encouraged me to apply. After praying about it, I applied and God opened the doors for me to go to Haiti.

On a recent visit to serve with HOPE worldwide Bolivia, I had the honor of meeting an incredible young man named Farid. Over the past 8 years, Farid has lived at Casa Esperanza, a boys home for abandoned children, and a longtime partner of HOPE ww Bolivia. For nearly a decade, HOPE ww has come alongside these vulnerable children with literacy, mentorship, and other support programs to help them graduate and find a job and community where they can thrive.
