New 'Women's Health Track'
The HOPE worldwide
CSB Program is excited to announce the addition of a new 'Women's Health Track', beginning in Guatemala during the summer 2019 Community Service Brigade.
In addition to the adult and pediatric medicine that is the anchor of the CSB Clinics, a women’s health track will be introduced as an important focus. The plan is to provide exam and treatment, as well as education classes to help raise awareness and meet the unique healthcare needs of women.
As you may be aware, the needs of women in developing countries oftentimes are overlooked and few services are available or accessible to them. We need your help to make these important educational and treatment opportunities accessible for hundreds of women in Central America, beginning in Guatemala.
If you are an OB/GYN provider (MD, PA, NP, RN or educator), please join us in Guatemala City, Guatemala, August 22-25, 2019.
Arrive: Guatemala City[GUA] Thursday August 22nd
Depart: Sunday August 25th or Monday August 26th

On a recent visit to serve with HOPE worldwide Bolivia, I had the honor of meeting an incredible young man named Farid. Over the past 8 years, Farid has lived at Casa Esperanza, a boys home for abandoned children, and a longtime partner of HOPE ww Bolivia. For nearly a decade, HOPE ww has come alongside these vulnerable children with literacy, mentorship, and other support programs to help them graduate and find a job and community where they can thrive.
